Video: ILoveMakonnen – Back Again

OVO affiliate Makonnen has been unleashing new heat quietly, this time around he is letting go of the visuals behind Back Again, and your boy is channeling his inner Bieber. A slim and seemingly toned, Makonnen resurfaces with his version of a love song gone wrong once shorty left and thought that she’d be able to come right back.

Not that simple.. Or is it? Watch as Makonnen reminisces on his recurring love and incorporates mass fog, masters the pout, creating an extra Emo flick for Back Again.

New Music: Bodega Bamz – The Function

Washington Heights ambassador Bodega Bamz, is letting us into the shenanigans ( my new favorite word by the way) that occur when he and his crew enter the spot. Bamz switches up his flow through out the Reem production, what first kicks off as a party track, later switches into a party romance; as Bamz vents on a crush that he hopes to meet at The Function.

Meet Bamz at The Function, with his latest offering.

New Music: Craigy F – Ridge Season 2

UnpopularPlug_RidgeSeason2

The return of the villains is officially here, as Craigy F delivers the follow up to his infamous Ridge Season soundtrack. In the second installment, Craigy continues his trend of smooth venting and displaying his rebellious ways on the 10 track project. Recruiting the likes of fellow CT natives, Craigy enlists partner in rhyme, Wave Mathews to complete the piece.

Listen as the two provide the state with instant waves on Ridge Season 2.

Music: Rockie Fresh – The Night I Went To Chicago (EP Stream)

5 is better than none. Chi-town’s own Rockie Fresh drops a surprise on us, as he lets go of a five track EP, serving as the follow up to his previous  L.A. based The Night I went To…, his second installment is suitably, straight out of Chicago. The project features fellow windy city native BJ The Chicago Kid, as well as production from Mike Daley and Mitchell Owens.

Music: Kool A.D. – All Love (EP Stream)

The quirky and always creative Kool A.D. has dropped off a new project filled with original joints, freestyles, and plenty of auto-tune.  I first got familiar with Kool A.D. after catching a performance with former group Das Racist, and gravitating towards the creative flow, funny bars and at times socially conscious messages.

Keeping it short and simple, All Love includes a rare Kool A.D., Panda freestyle, as well as the lyricist rapping over a Fetty production, before showering us through out the album with his unique set of bars. The last project received from the Bay area repper included a mass piece of 100 tracks titled O.K., this time around he’s cut corners and delivering a 7 song EP.

Music: Big K.R.I.T. – So Bad

The Mississippi lyrical prophet a.k.a  Big K.R.I.T. has returned to deliver a loosie, in celebration of the 5th anniversary of his classic project Return Of 4 Eva. K.R.I.T. is posing the question, have you ever fought/wanted something so bad?

Anyone of K.R.I.T.’s anthems can be used for inspiration, and this is just another track adding on to his motivational catalog. Rhyming over his own production, the  multitalented, king remembered in time, is continuing his legacy in 2016 with, So Bad.

Music: Domo Genesis Ft. Wiz Khalifa, Tyler The Creator & Juicy J – GO (Gas)

What happens when you combine two of Odd Future‘s greatest, Wiz Khalifa and Juicy J? One Epic Track! GO (Gas) is exactly what this is. Laced with Tyler’s distinct production, two smooth versus from Wiz and The Juice Man, Domo Genesis showed out on this collab.

Tyler added his hilarious commentary, including a brief intermission where he reminisces on His grandma’s church tambourine.

I’m kind of Bias when it comes to Domo Genesis. He’s always delivered and this loosie right here, is no different! Juicy J breathes new life into the joint, ending the banger on a high note.

This collaboration is what we’ve all been waiting for. Check out GO (Gas).
